I'd previously mentioned my disdain for self-checkouts in blog post some time ago (you can read it here). This was an easy one to come up with, I started with a basic script which I didn't really stray from.
The machine was the star, this was created separatly and inserted into the artwork.
The visitors name badge was a late addition when I reallised some readers might not understand or know who the character is. I was going to add an arrow label device to explain before I came up with the final idea, it was inserted after the completed artwork and literally stuck on moments before publishing.

ReplyDeleteI try to refuse but my local supermarket only opens the self checkouts after 8pm.
