An Iron Age forge, incoming Romans, and... a very loud modern reality check! What happens when the ancient world gets cut short?

Bringing our hero back to his own time required a sudden shock tactic. I took inspiration from the Christopher Reeve time-travel film Somewhere in Time—specifically the moment where a stray bit of modern reality snaps the main character straight out of his historical immersion and drags him back to the present day.
